Our Story
Radiant Communities Development Corporation (Radiant CDC) was born from a deep conviction: families in underserved communities deserve more than just housing—they deserve dignity, opportunity, and hope.
With over 30 years of experience in affordable housing, our leadership launched Radiant CDC in March 2019 to go beyond bricks and mortar and focus on what truly transforms communities: people. What began as a mission to build high-quality, affordable homes has grown into a movement to invest in lives—supporting residents through services, partnerships, and pathways to lasting change.
We’ve seen firsthand how traditional housing models often fall short when they overlook the deeper needs of families facing poverty, trauma, or systemic barriers. Radiant was founded to bridge that gap. We combine deep development expertise with a heart for holistic impact—integrating on-site service facilities, behavioral health supports, workforce training, youth engagement, and more—into the very fabric of our communities.
Radiant Communities are more than places to live. They’re places to grow, to heal, and to belong. Every project reflects our commitment to thoughtful design, long-term sustainability, and meaningful community collaboration. And at the center of it all is our core belief: when we invest in people, we ignite transformation that can impact generations.
As a faith-rooted, broadly welcoming nonprofit, we partner with churches, philanthropists, investors, government agencies, and grassroots leaders to bring light to overlooked places. From rural senior housing to urban supportive communities, Radiant CDC is building a network of hope—one neighborhood at a time.
